Blue Ridge Tourist Court

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this delightful hotel. The owners did a fantastic job with every mid-century detail, from the happy colors to the furniture and fixtures. And everything was immaculately clean! The location is just a minute outside Boone and App State, so convenient to seeing our son who’s a student here. We’ve stayed at all the chain hotels in the area, and this is vastly superior! We won’t stay anywhere else on our future visits. We give 5 wholehearted stars!

My wife, my dog, and I spent a night at BRTC recently and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and beautifully designed. It had everything we needed from a coffee maker to small fridge. The owners clearly spent considerable time recreating a nostalgic experience - we loved our stay!

Cute refurbished and redesigned motor lodge. Thank you for saving it and for your unique idea! So comfy, cozy and clean for our one-night stay in Boone. All the necessary conveniences for today’s lifestyle - plenty of storage, hanging options and electrical outlets - but with an early modern feel. We only missed 3 tiny details: a mirror in the room for when someone else is in the bathroom, a lamp by the sofa for reading when someone else is sleeping and a light-blocking shade on the front window. Those porch lights are bright. Highly recommend.

Me and my family stayed here a couple of weeks ago and it was gorgeous. The rooms are decorated lovely and have all the amenities you would need. The hosts are super responsive and lovely. We had accidentally booked 2 bunk bed rooms without releasing and they so nicely offered us a room, with a double bed, next to one of the bunk bed rooms due to them having the availability. Could not fault the stay or hosts! And would highly recommend :)

My husband and I traveled to Boone just to stay in this motel. Someone on Facebook had posted about it and I was so excited to go. It met all my expectations so clean so well thought out! The bed was extremely comfortable with wonderful women it was probably the cleanest Place I have ever stayed more than met my expectations!

I’d watched as this little jewel was being renovated and was so excited to reserve a room for us. It did not disappoint! I felt I should have packed oxfords , a poodle skirt, a scarf for around my neck and put my hair in a pony tail!!! Charming attention to detail, close to downtown and a responsive staff. We don’t get to Boone as often as we’d like but when we do, this is the place we want to stay.

Nice, refurbished roadside motel. I appreciated the mid-century modern aesthetic. The bed was comfortable, and the room was very clean. There were strong attention to detail and thoughtful touches throughout the space. Delicious local coffee is available in the room along with tea. The large refrigerator and microwave were also nice to have. Conveniently located to most anywhere in Boone you would want to go.

A very nice place to stay in the mountains of NC. It's close to Appalachian State University and lots of things to do. The rooms are super comfortable, clean and oh so cute. It has everything that you need. I would definitely stay here again. The owners are very nice and they have done a wonderful job redoing this motel. Very talented.
